it's been snowing. well, it snowed last night and today anyway. we got like 17 inches. i'm disappointed that i am going to be missing therapy tomorrow because i can't get my car out. too much on top and all around it. i tried cleaning it off but my back was hurting. i am grateful that my friend has offered to help me clean it up tomorrow night.

how's the weather where all of you are? i know my australian friends have been going through some weather hell. i'm glad to hear the flooding has most likely reached it's limit. i do pray that's true and that things start to get better there soon. peace

this is me as of today. i know some of you haven't seen pictures of me in quite awhile. i'm a beast, i know (;

What a blow... not being able to drive to the programm? next week perhaps?
You look good Jymi, but the snow brings back memories...no way do I need that again! Here it is hot and damp...not easy to get energy for working at all. Thanks for the good wishes, hopefully the worst is over.

yeah, i'll get there next week. i haven't started the program yet. tomorrow was an individual therapy session and i really value that 1 hour a week a lot. it is so important to me, but it'll be there next week. i was supposed to hear from the program today, as to when i start or if i start, even. but they were off today cuz of the snow storm. i assume they'll be there tomorrow and hopefully will call me.
anyway, thank you... and yeah, i definitely hope the worst is over for you guys. peace

Oh my gosh..we have floods in our city and you have snow storms! Global warming? Do you usually get that much snow where you live?

Sorry to read you couldn't get to your therapy session, could you meditate or something like that instead? It's hard I know because I can imagine how much it must means to you right now..

About our floods, they seem to be over and now there is the massive clean up to do. h.u.g.e. Oh and btw you are looking great:)

thanks. (:
we do actually usually get a lot of snow, yeah. it's not too unusual. it's just a pain in the ass. it seems like we don't usually get 2 huge snowstorms in a row, like we did, but i dunno. we have. i'm not a big fan of snowstorms. it is very pretty, but it's a mess and a headache.

my therapist ended up calling me around the time of our session and we talked for about a half hour, so that was really good.

i'm very glad the flooding is mostly over where you live, even though cleanup is going to take awhile. hopefully things will settle soon.

Clear blue skies here in Tucson. Forecast is a high of 70 degrees.
Yeah, Queensland's flooding is hell, you said it! I saw some news about 100s of people missing or dead in Brazil's mudslides. A Year ago was Haiti's disaster. January, whew.

You're looking well. That's too bad about your car being snowed in. I remember those days!

wow, 70 degrees! i'm jealous! i would love some 70 degree weather right now. still, you're going through your own hell in tuscon right now. eek.

Wow, you guys are really getting nailed out there. Makes our Wisco snow look like nothing! It's really freakin' cold here though. I'd rather it was snowing because then it's a bit warmer (no, really, that's a scientific thing - it can get too cold to snow). Or, you know, spring could come a couple months early. I'd be down with that. :)

Glad you got to talk to your therapist even though you couldn't make it to your session. :)

thanks, yeah, we got a shitload of snow. and i know it can get too cold to snow, it seems that way anyway, although now that the snow has happened, it's starting to get really cold here again. supposed to be 0 or minus 1 in some parts tonight. yuck.
