Lollapalooza 94

The best concert i ever went to was Lollapalooza 94. I spent the whole day crowd surfing. It was a ton of fun. I was 15 years old and went with 2 of my guy friends, Matt and Steve.

Here is a playlist of the bands who were there, and songs (if possible) from that time period so you can feel like you were there too.

Smashing Pumpkins- Disarm (they actually sucked live and were the last act, so we left early. i have seen them twice. This is my favorite song by them)

Beastie Boys- So Whatcha Want (Beasties were the best part of the show)

Breeders- Cannon Ball (i was thrown onstage with the Breeders who quickly threw me off. the bass in this song is so great)

more under cut
...

Tribe Called Quest- Check The Rhime (one of the best rap groups ever)

The Black Crowes- She Talk To Angels (one of my favorite songs)

L7- Shitlist

Cypress Hill- Ain't Going Out Like That (Cypress Hill was not actually at the show i went to, which bummed me out a LOT but they were at other 94 shows)

Green Day- She (Green Day was not actually at the show i was at either. bleh)

The Pharcyde- Passin Me By (another great hip hop group)

the awesome Luscious Jackson- Deep Shag
