The Wall of Fear

anyway. the wall is on tv. have you ever seen it? its kind of disturbing, but i like disturbing. i feel like people always tell me i shouldnt like disturbing things cuz its dangerous to my mind, like it could make me into a monster or something. i think there are enough monsters. i used to like to see disturbing things because i liked to study everything i was up against.

the wall taught me a lot when i was a kid, but i see much further than the wall today. i never used to understand the purpose of tearing it down. it is all built up anger and resentment. i always thought of the trial at the end of the wall as being unfair, but really, walls are no good for people. we put up wals out of fear, and fear makes the world an unsafe place.

tearing down the wall means forgiving the people you love, and forgiveness in general. As someone said, an eye for an eye just makes the whole world blind.

Friends, you are welcome to remind me who said that.

ps. the entire wall is available on youtube, and if you can count, you can figure out the film's order, for those who have no seen pink floyd's the wall and are confused by the metaphore. maybe i'll be nice and include it in my next post in order

Pink Floyd The Wall

Pink Floyd's The Wall. in order. The full movie, right here right now. Enjoy it. It's rated R cuz it is disturbing. You don't need to be stoned to see it, but people watch it stoned a lot. It's considered one of those "stoner" things...like a rite of passage to be a true stoner, but even if you hate weed you may love the film...
