My Weekend

Friday i had my program, and i had a really good day there. When i got home, my friend stopped by. We hung out for awhile and later i took a walk to spy pond to take pictures. I bought a 6 pack of Heiniken, but only drank 2.
Saturday i slept most of the day, but went out for Chinese food. Then a friend came over for a bit and i uploaded some Biggy, Roger Waters, Lou Reed, The Streets, MIA and Run DMC to my computer.
Today i woke up and walked to the pond to go swimming. April is pretty early to be swimming in Massachusetts but it was 84 degrees F today. Very nice. I did not bring my camera, cuz i went alone and didn't want my camera stolen while i was in the water, but this is the pond i swam in...

after swimming, i took a drive to Acton, to my favorite Bagel place. i think it is called Bagel Plus. I love the cream cheese there. It has fresh veggis in it and is delish. I bought 4 bagels and a tub of veggi cream cheese to bring home with me. i'm gonna have another one now.

I hope everyone else had a good weekend. Peace.

it was a great weekend, and it was cool to see in my DBT work, where i keep track of the severity of negative emotions and their impact on me. i had much lower numbers this week.
i went swimming again today, even though it was much cooler out
bagels are awesome. i got really into them when i went to high school in Brookline, which is the Jewish section of Boston. they had a lot of great bagel shops and we had an hour lunch break every day to walk up the street and eat wherever. Bagels were always good and cheap.

are bagels jewish?
i really love them too... esp the sesame seed ones. it's hard to find fresh bagels here though they seem to go stale so fast!

bagels have become very popular everywhere within the last 15/20 years, but jewish people have been eating them a lot longer

me too. i traveled a half hour for these bagels, even though i could walk to a bagel shop in 5 minutes. they are the best. i used to be out that way a lot, but now bagels are my only reason to go, so i get them less often. they are so good

about bodies of h2o in ma...
it takes forever for them to warm up cuz of the cold winters... so tempting to go in when it's cold tho, esp when it's rather hot outside...risk of major brainfreeze tho, lolz.

Re: about bodies of h2o in ma...
i don't mind the cold water. the pond i go to really isn't too bad, considering that winter just ended. it seems like only a few weeks since it was solid ice, but i guess its been a bit longer. maine water is very very cold though. i go every summer and it is freezing! i still swim in it, but its numbing
