Writer's Block: Legends of Rock

There are a few concerts that go down in musical history—Altamont, Woodstock, Live Aid, the Hannah Montana Best of Both Worlds tour—as legendary experiences. What live show stands as legend in your own experience?

in who's opinion was hannah montana's concert the best ever? i admit i've never seen her in concert, nor do i plan to, but it cracks me up that she is mentioned in this list along with woodstock. ha ha

i would have loved to have been at woodstock. the original especially. woodstock 94 and 99 were not actually "woodstock" in my opinion, however, i would have loved to have been at woodstock 94. i was 15 years old and watched hours upon hours of it on pay per view. (we used to steal cable, so it was free). There were a lot of great rock and/or grunge bands there, as well as some good hip hop too. A lot of my favorite bands were at Woodstock 94 actually. Cypress Hill, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Nine Inch Nails, Violent Femmes, Salt N Peppa... i forget who else, but it looked like a lot of fun. I was not yet born for the original Woodstock, but i bet that was a ton of fun as well.

The best big concert like that that i have been to was Lollapalooza 94. I saw Smashing Pumpkins, The Breeders, Tribe Called Quest, George Clinton, Flaming Lips and most exciting was The Beastie Boys.

I spent almost the entire day of the concert crowd surfing. I went with 2 friends but didn't see them for most of the event, as i was being passed through the air by peoples hands. It was totally fun.

Anyway, that's it for now. Rock On Gold Dust People.
