Add it to my Queue

what is the point of the second ue on the word Queue? Is it there to remind you that you didn't even need to add ONE "ue"? It's like the word was mad we didn't keep it simple, so it had to make things over complicated to piss us off and get us back.

Fah-Queue, Queue!
we don't like you
ue and ue should sniff glue
and play tarzan
like you did when you were two
but now Ue's too cool for you
and you're all alone with Q
playing skip too my lieu
skip to my lieu my darling.

I love your poem about the ue! LOL.

I think queue might be derived from French? That is what I always thought anyway. Que in French is pronounced more like Kuh, so the extra ue would make it Q. It is weird.

oh yeah, french. i forgot about french....i don't really know any. i know 3 sentences in spanish that are pretty much unusable, and a few words and all the italian swears. but i know por que? because i had a crazy friend in 8th grade who said it a lot and she tried to light her house on fire the last day of school that year. i think she had a thyroid condition...

i'm glad you liked my poem.
